We offer a range of courses designed to help individuals manage common mental health issues. The courses are friendly and interactive and can also be an opportunity for people to meet others with similar conditions.
Anxiety and Relaxation
Location: Harlow and Stansted
Anxiety and Relaxation is a five week cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) course that explores coping strategies and techniques to manage general anxiety. The anxiety and relaxation course will help teach you what anxiety is and give you skill on how to better manage it.
The course is attended by up to 16 people in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, and each session lasts for two hours with a break in the middle.
The Self-Esteem Course is a seven week cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) course that explores low self-esteem and techniques that can utilised day-to-day to manage it. Each week you will receive worksheets that contain material taught during the session, as well as worksheets relating to exercises and tasks to complete between each session.
The course is attended by up to 20 people in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, and each session lasts for two hours with a break in the middle.
The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Group is a seven week cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) group that explores how OCD behaviours and thoughts can be managed. The OCD group addresses how anxiety can be overcome, and how to develop coping strategies that will overcome the unhelpful excessive or repetitive behaviours commonly seen in OCD.
Every group member will be experiencing OCD but may be experiencing different types of OCD. Each session will have a particular focus designed to help you work towards your own individual goals regarding your OCD. You will be asked to complete various homework tasks that are designed to aid your progress and will be tailored your own individual needs.
The group is attended by up to 15 people in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, and each session lasts two hours with a break in the middle.

Stress Management Workshop
The stress management workshop is a one off workshop suitable for businesses and organisations. Participants do not have to be in treatment with Healthy Minds to receive the workshop.
